After analyzing the results of DNA tests, Larry Birkhead has finally been judged as the father of Anna Nicole Smiths five month old daughter Dannielynn. Earlier, Dr Michael Baird, a DNA expert from Ohio, had presented his findings before the Bahamas court, authenticating the paternity of Birkhead. Anna Nicole Smith, the 39 year old former model and actress was found dead due to accidental overdose of prescription medicines in a hotel room in Florida on February 8, 2007.
Dannielynn Hope was born to Anna Nicole Smith in Bahamas. Three days after the birth of Dannielynn, Annas son Daniel Smith accidentally died in his mothers hospital room due to a reaction caused by over dosage of drugs. Due to some uncertain reasons, Anna Nicole Smith named her lawyer Howard K Stern as the father of her daughter in the birth certificate. Stern was Annas partner the time of her death and lived with Anna in her Bahamas residence. But Larry Birkhead, a Los Angeles photographer and Smiths former playboy playmate and boyfriend, filed a paternity suit in the Los Angeles Court in October claiming to be the biological father of the child.
Later, the court ordered Anna and her daughter to submit their DNA for testing. After her death, the process of DNA collection was delayed due to legal confusion between Florida and California Courts. In between this confusion, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, who is the husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, claimed to have a decade long relationship with Anna. He also filed his entry as the biological father of Dannielynn. However, the results of DNA tests revealed Larry Birkhead as the real father of Anna Nicole Smiths five month old daughter Dannielynn.
